The PEARC17 Technical Program includes four Paper tracks, Tutorials, Posters, a Visualization Showcase and Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions. All submissions should emphasize results and lessons derived from collaborations with and use of advanced research computing on campuses or otherwise provided for use by the academic and open science communities. Student papers and posters are encouraged.

PEARC17 provides students with multiple opportunities to participate in the Technical Program and in targeted student activities, including introductory Tutorials, a Student Modeling Day, a Student Mentoring program, a Student Networking event, and volunteer opportunities. See the Student Program web page for details.

EXTERNAL PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS

PEARC17 has limited opportunities for external groups to schedule meetings and workshops outside of the core program activities. Space for larger half-day or full-day workshops before or after the conference may be coordinated through the conference organizers. Groups interested in shorter meetings may have opportunities throughout the week. Selection of times and locations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis to those groups who submit requests during the posted submission period. See the Call for Participation for details on proposing meetings and workshops.
